with 1 to 3 years experience
Responsibilities include:
• Performing structural calculations for the design and
evaluation of new and existing buildings
Required Qualifications:
• Technical competence
• The ability to perform calculations with limited direction
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• BS degree (emphasis in structures)
• EIT certification
• Ability to climb ladder
Preferred Qualifications:
• MS degree
• Design experience with wood, steel, concrete and masonry
• Familiarity with structural analysis software
• Knowledge of seismic evaluations and loss estimates/PMLs
• PE registration in California
Project Engineer
with 3 to 7 years experience
Responsibilities include:
- Performing structural calculations and developing structural
drawings for new and existing buildings
Required Qualifications:
- Technical competence
- The ability to develop construction documents with limited direction
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Previous experience managing a team of engineers
- Previous experience with direct client contact
- Experience with structural analysis software
- BS degree (emphasis in structures)
- PE registration in California
- Ability to climb ladder
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree
