Brent Blackman is the President and
Founder of Insight Structural Engineers. Brent established the firm
in 2003 with a vision of creating long-term relationships with
clients who value excellent service.
Brent is a Structural
Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional who is committed to
developing efficient structural solutions that are sustainable and
compatible with the architectural layout. He is highly involved in
all phases of each project from its inception through the completion
of construction. His hands-on approach directly benefits our clients
by reducing the project cost and improving the schedule.
Brent is an active member of several professional organizations and
he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Structural
Engineers Association of Southern California.

Traveled to western India to investigate the performance of
buildings after the 2001 M7.7 Bhuj, India Earthquake
Disaster Service Worker – trained by the State of California to
