HANK LIN, PE

Design Engineer




Hank Lin joined Insight Structural Engineers in 2015 after obtaining his Masters of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley and gaining structural experience at a prominent firm in Los Angeles. While at his previous firm, Hank was responsible for providing structural engineering services for Kaiser Permanente, Cedars-Sinai, and other health care facilities in Southern California. He coordinated construction administration efforts for Los Angeles Valley College, and has also worked on various hospitality projects outside of California.

Hank has familiarity with the standards of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development and of the Division of the State Architect. He has experience using BIM software such as Tekla Structures and Navisworks. He enjoys creating unique details to resolve field issues, working with the architect, general contractor, or civil engineer to find the best solution.
